In 2017, a preventive excavation was conducted on the neighboring property (plot no. 20655/126), located northwest of the plot covered in this report (20655/125). On that plot, two features were recorded in the northeastern and northwestern parts, though no associated finds were recovered. Additionally, a natural ditch running northeast–southwest along the full length of the property was documented.

Approximately 150–200 meters southeast of the present plot, a Late Roman building complex rich in finds was excavated in 2007–2008 (plots 20645/1–7, 20655/2–43, 20656/2, 20646/1) (Láng 2009).

Previous excavations in the nearby area—just 10–20 meters north of the present plot, during ditch construction—also yielded medieval finds in addition to Roman material.
Between May 21 and 28, 2020, a full-surface excavation was carried out on the plot at 9 Stefan Wyszyński Street, located at 165 a.B.S.l. on the northeastern slope of Csúcs Hill. Across the entire site, only a single feature was identified: an elongated, southwest–northeast oriented pit with tapering ends, dark brown in color, measuring 5.8 meters in length and widening to 60 cm at its center (Fig. 1).

From the surface of this feature, a Roman-period pottery sherd measuring 4×3.3 cm was recovered. It was tempered with gravel, ceramic fragments, and sand, grey on the exterior and light brown to grey-spotted on the interior. Subsequently, five additional Roman pottery sherds—1–2 cm in diameter and of varied color and quality—were retrieved from the fill. The fill consisted of a single layer, and the function of the feature could not be determined.
