"The nude and the portrait is the same genre for me. While the face only reflects the soul in a few exceptional cases, the body, lacking in mimical muscles, is much more open, vulnerable and honest. You could also say that the body gives 'context' to the face. The 'ecce homo' is not the head, or the head and the (Armani? Hugo Boss? Second-hand?) clothes of a person, rather their head and their naked, suffering body." (Péter Tímár)
